The applicants must meet the following course admission requirements.

  1. Must be 18 years of age or over at the time of enrolment.
  2. Must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or higher, or an equivalent overseas qualification.
  3. Must achieve a satisfactory score on Aura Education’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test and digital literacy test.
  4. Must satisfy Aura’s Genuine Student (GS) requirements.
  5. Must meet one of the following English language requirements.

Direct Entry

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Minimum overall band score of 6.0.
  • Cambridge English (C1 Advanced): Minimum test score of 161.
  • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): Minimum overall score of 47.
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based test (TOEFL iBT): Minimum total score of 67.
  • Australian Senior Secondary Study: Hold a valid student visa and have successfully completed the requirements for an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education within the last 2 years prior to application, provided the course was conducted in Australia and in English.
  • Australian Higher Education Study: Hold a valid student visa and have successfully completed a substantial component (more than 50%) of a course leading to an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualification at Certificate IV level or higher within the last 2 years prior to application, provided the course was conducted in Australia and in English.

  • Overall Score 5.5 + 10 weeks ELICOS
  • Overall Score 5.0 + 20 weeks ELICOS

Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE):

  • Score 39 + 10 weeks ELICOS
  • Score 31 + 20 weeks ELICOS

Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based test (TOEFL iBT):

  • Score 51 + 10 weeks ELICOS
  • Score 37 + 20 weeks ELICOS

Entirely online or "at-home" test variants, such as the IELTS Online or TOEFL iBT Home Edition, are not accepted.
